Light exposure induced ROS and Rho/ROCK activation, which caused disruption of cell-cell junctions (tight junctions and adherens junctions) and actin cytoskeleton, the RPE’s barrier structure, and induced AMD-associated pathological changes in the RPE-choroid.”

Intraperitoneally-injected myricetin at an extreme GSK2126458 dose of 1000 mg/kg did not induce death of mice, alleviating the safety issue. Thus, these polyphenols might be useful in treating various human hypersecretion diseases for which BoNT/A has been the only option of choice.”
